ANTI-CLOGGING MESHES

Invented and patented by GIRON in the 1950s, anti-clogging meshes are now widely used worldwide. They are a flagship product of our company, and we know all their intricacies.

These vibrating-wire meshes are made of high-strength steel strands, preformed and independent from one another, placed side by side in the horizontal plane. The wires are held together by vulcanized rubber or polyurethane wefts, ensuring precise cutting until the wire is completely worn.

This design creates a single-block screening surface, perfectly flat, highly flexible, and limited in thickness to a single steel wire. It is therefore unsurprising that this type of weave is commonly used to improve abrasion resistance, particularly since its anti-clogging and anti-blinding performance—and thus screening efficiency—allow for the use of larger wire diameters than those used in so-called classic meshes.

These meshes can be manufactured with square, triangular, rectangular, or sinusoidal openings, in high-strength steel or stainless steel.
